Album: Songs for Snakes
Artist: Songs for Snakes
Label: Happy Snappy

San Francisco’s post-hardcore band, Songs for Snakes, seems to be strongly influenced by artists such as Drive Like Jehu and Jawbreaker, which is evident in their guitar style. Overall, it’s a solid release with a few jems, that range from slower tracks to songs with a poppy twist. Songs for Snakes has slithered all the way up from number 28 to number 1 in the past week here at KSPC.
This is KSPC’s #1 album for the week of June 22, 2009.
