Anne Koegel is interviewing the Salastina Music Society on her show Neoclassical with Anne Koegel today (June 7).

The Salastina Music Society is a concert series dedicated to presenting world-class classical performances in Southern California. Co-artistic directors Maia Jasper and Kevin Kumar approach the classical concert experience in a fresh way, emphasizing audience inclusion and a welcoming and elegant atmosphere. The concerts focus on vocal chamber music, carefully selected, and include both old pieces and new commissions. The Salastina Music Society is presenting a show on Saturday, June 16, at 3 pm featuring performances of Vaughn Williams’s Merciless Beauty, Brydern’s Autobahn, Cazzati’s Ciaccona, Brahms’s Piano Quintet – First Movement, Barber’s String Quartet – Adagio, and Grever’s Jurame. This show is at Garrison Theater on Scripps College campus.
