At 25, Hoboken, New Jersey’s Yo La Tengo are elder statesmen of the American indie scene. Heroes to geeky, crate-digging hipsters everywhere, they’re as consistently eclectic as they are consistently good. They just plain love music, and it shows – this one’s got everything from 15-minute Krautrock jams (12) to bizarro-Motwon (5).
It’s Yo La Tengo’s second week on the KSPC charts, and they have quickly shot up to the number one spot.
