Pomona College Museum of Art continues its Art After Hours series this week with live performances by Auto Da Fe and Kitchen Hips.
Auto Da Fe is a local band from Pomona, CA, and presents a full spectrum of sounds from around the world in their music, including Naxi Chinese, Polynesian, Tibetan, Gypsy, and Anglo Saxon influences. The group, featuring local musician and artist Tara Tavi, features Chinese zither (guzheng), marimba, Tibetan cymbals, accordian, Chinese banjo, organ, handmade bowed electric cello stick, electric sitar stick, and hand bells, among other instruments. Their music is charismatic and enchanting.

Art After Hours is every Thursday, 5-11PM and features extended museum hours, live music, and sometimes snacks! Music starts around 9PM.
