All Handel, All the Time! Tim’s guest on this week’s Going for Baroque (Friday from noon – 2pm) will be Prof. Graydon Beeks, member of the Pomona College Music Faculty, renowned baroque music scholar and President of the American Handel Society. He and Tim will discuss and play the man and his music, as well as profile the activities of the American Handel Society. Prof. Beeks will also report first-hand on the recent annual Handel festival held earlier this month in Halle, Germany, the composer’s birthplace.
