An excellent split EP from Japan’s And Vice Versa and Pitzer graduate
Magical Mistakes. Both artists compliment each other very well
stylisticly on this primarily electronic album that presents us with
hazy sunrise ambience that undertones organic percussions, both
traditionally electronic and very organic in a contemporary manner.
Split and diced vocal sounds add more to the organic feel of this album
making this machine a little more human. Adding to the highly dancable beats,
both elements of jazz and world music envelope these tracks which brings the
listener in to create a familiarality with the music, then something totally
creative and experimental explodes to place the listener on edge, without
ever once leaving this soft day dream. – Kenn Deaton
