Come on down! Saturday, April 17, 2010 is Record Store Day and KSPC will have a table in front of Rhino Records in Claremont! Meet some of your favorite kSPC DJs and pick up a free license plate frame, sticker, or other goodies — and most importantly, support your local independent record store, Rhino Records by picking up one of their exclusive releases only available tomorrow!
You’ll want to get there early, too — because at 10am they will be giving out wristbands for the live set by Yo La Tengo at 3pm! And at 11am, Patrick Campbell-Lyons (Of UK 60’s psychedelic band Nirvana UK) will be reading excerpts from his novel “Psychedelic Days” as well as signing the book & taking questions. Yo La Tengo will do a signing directly after their performance too!
